And with Paul Pogba suspended from the return fixture next month following his red card, even Solskjaer admitted his side have been left with a mountain to climb.

But Bailly has witnessed the interim manager’s transformation of the team he inherited from Jose Mourinho and refuses to rule out a famous comeback in the French capital.
